All eyes were set on the dazzling engagement ring Megan Markle wore when she and Prince Harry announced their engagement on Monday.
The custom ring complimented the engagement perfectly. When asked about how he popped the question, the prince said that it was at home in Kensington Palace as the couple prepared dinner together.
Designed by the Prince himself, the ring had elements that bore an importance to their relationship. It started with picking a yellow gold ring because it was Ms Markle’s favourite.
The yellow gold ring carried three sparkling gems: the main stone was from Botswana, a place the prince holds close to his heart. The diamonds that sat alongside the main stone were from, Princess Diana’s personal collection.
The official jewellers to Queen Elizabeth II, Cleave and Company, were tasked in bringing the prince’s design to life.
